I was introduced to the weight room when I was about 14 years old, and I was hooked from day one.

After graduating from West Texas A&M University in 2001 with degrees in Business Administration, Finance, and Marketing, I spent 11 years in the corporate world. Like a lot of people, long hours behind a desk slowly caught up with me. I became sedentary, out of shape, and at 176 pounds, I remember getting winded just bending over to tie my shoes.

When I turned 30, I decided enough was enough.

I started small…walking on a treadmill every day. Eventually those walks turned into runs, and the runs turned into lifting weights. Progress was slow, but it was progress. Then I hired a personal trainer named Chris.

That decision changed my life.

Chris quickly became one of my closest friends. He introduced me to powerlifting and challenged me every single workout. He was stronger than me, faster than me, and never let me take the easy route. I got my butt kicked regularly, but I kept showing up. Over time, I transformed both physically and mentally. That skinny, out-of-shape version of myself became nothing more than a reminder of where I’d started.

It was during one of those workouts after another long Monday in the office that everything clicked.

I realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life behind a desk. The gym was where I felt energized, challenged, and fulfilled. Instead of counting down the hours until I could work out, I wanted helping people become my full-time career.

So I went all in.

I earned my NFPT Personal Trainer certification and started training friends and family. It didn’t take long to realize I had found exactly what I was meant to do.

Today, helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident isn’t just my career…it’s my purpose.

Whether your goal is to lose weight, build strength, improve mobility, or simply feel better, my approach is never one-size-fits-all. Every program is customized to fit your goals, your body, and your lifestyle.

I’ll challenge you, encourage you, and probably throw in more than a little sarcasm along the way. I won’t yell at you, but I will push you. We’ll celebrate the wins, learn from the setbacks, and keep moving forward together.

Fitness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about becoming a little better every day.

If you’re ready to put in the work, I’m ready to help you get there.
